What was once a huge dairy barn is now a luxurious contemporary home waiting for its new owner…
This barn conversion is every artist’s dream – the dramatic view of the countryside and the large, tranquil space it offers are simply perfect for finding creative inspiration!
Located on a 46-acre land in Roxbury, Connecticut, this 1960 construction was used as a Voytershark Farm dairy barn until 1994. It was one of the last massive dairy barns in use in the town.
Renovated and updated from the ground up, the old barn is now a smart, loft-style living space that allows its owners to control air conditioning and lighting from their phones. It features 20-foot ceilings, a western facing floor-to-ceiling glass wall, a professional kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven, three bedrooms, a large home office and a 6,000-foot studio!
The studio, which is currently a wide expanse of unused space, is perfect to use as an art studio, photography or film production studio, recording studio, dance or yoga studio. It can be used for practically any creative or work space function.
Of course, the property also allows use as animal pasture and for other agricultural purposes.
