Sharma Springs by IBUKU

This grand 5-level vacation home is built almost entirely out of bamboo. IBUKU used a combination of black and white bamboo for this project and the result is a light and elegant collection of walls, ceilings, floors and railings.

Access is via a dramatic tunnel-bridge that directly leads to the open air living, dining, and kitchen spaces on the 4th level, while you can head over to the other parts of the home via the staircases that circle around the ‘central tower’. The four bedrooms, library and kids room are located below. The fifth floor on the other hand is the place for enjoying beautiful sunset views!

The house is furnished with custom-designed pieces by IBUKU themselves. And they designed the surrounding gardens as well!
