1962 Western Pacific Airstream Luxury Home

It wasn’t exactly the standard 1962 Airstream model during its time. This 40-foot trailer, one of the ten used by Western Pacific, was built by riveting two 20-foot trailers with its ends symmetrical rather than having the usual sloping tail.

When Union Pacific Railroad company acquired Western Pacific in 1989, the ten trailers were dismounted. Some went to railroad museums, some were sold at auctions and five remained as public possessions.

One of these five trailers were restored and transformed by custom vehicle manufacturer Timeless Travel Trailers.

The restoration included polishing its exterior to a perfect finish, featuring its Western Pacific branding. But the interior is a better showcase of Timeless Travel Trailers’ craftsmanship!

The trailer was custom designed with the 1950’s concept incorporated with modern technology such as the flat-screen television and air conditioning they installed. Its polished aluminum walls were retained so that it also gives an ultra modern look.

At one end is the living area, furnished with grey built-in sofas and complemented with a bright-coloured table.

Its kitchen is complete with a touch pad operated refrigerator, wood cutting board and a wet surface work area. The laminated and walnut veneer built-in cabinets and drawers provide plenty of storage.

Of course, this amazing trailer is also equipped with a vanity, a dual-flush toilet and a shower area with a glass door and a flexible shower head.

On the other end is the bedroom. It includes ample storage space located under the bed, which can be accessed by lifting the hinged platform.

This Airstream renovation is truly a work of art by Timeless Travel Trailers. Take a tour by viewing our album below to see how impressive this home is!
